PerkDeck ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user of the PerkDeck mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account data: Email address and password (stored securely via Firebase Authentication)
• Profile data: Username and age (used for content appropriateness)
• Usage data: Cards collected, sets completed, daily ad count, active boosts
• Device data: Device type and OS version (for crash reporting and compatibility)

We do not collect your real name, phone number, location, or payment information.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the PerkDeck service
• To sync your collection across devices via Firebase Firestore
• To show age-appropriate content based on your confirmed age
• To deliver perks and discount codes when you complete brand sets
• To improve the app through anonymised usage analytics

3. Advertising

PerkDeck displays short brand video content within the app. We use Google AdMob to serve advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.

Users under 13 are served non-personalised ads only. Safe Mode is available for parents to restrict ad content.

4. Affiliate Links & Perks

When you unlock a perk or redeem a discount code, you may be directed to a third-party brand website via an affiliate link. We may earn a commission from qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you. We work with affiliate networks including Rakuten Advertising and AWIN.

These third-party websites have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore and Authentication), hosted in Europe (europe-west1). We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Profile screen in the app.

6. Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K)

PerkDeck is intended for users aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

For users who indicate they are under 13, we restrict ad personalisation and enable Safe Mode by default.

7. Your Rights

Under GDPR and applicable privacy laws, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Object to processing of your data
• Data portability

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below or use the Delete Account option in the app.

8. Cookies & Tracking

The PerkDeck mobile app does not use cookies. Our website (perkdeck-site.rickexdev.workers.dev) does not use tracking cookies or analytics.

9. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or by email. Continued use of PerkDeck after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
